About Us

In 2017, Jess took the AAPC (American Association of Professional Coders) Certified Professional Coder exam and passed on the very first attempt (it usually takes multiple attempts to pass). 

In 2018, Jess worked at a Chiropractic office becoming a Certified Chiropractic Assistant through the state of Tennessee along with doing everything in the front office including sending claims and receiving insurance payments.  

Then in 2020, Jess accepted a position at an official Coding and Billing position at a small, family operated billing company in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

In 2022, Jess accepted a position with an EMR company to work remotely in their billing department for PT and Chiro billing.

In 2023, Jess took the AAPC Certified Professional Biller exam and passed on the very first attempt.

In January of 2024, Jess starting billing for her 1st client out on her own. After several months, Jess decided that starting her own Billing company to grow and gain more clients was what she was meant to do and MillerMed Billing, LLC was formed.

Jessica (Jess) Miller grew up in a Podiatrist's home. Her dad was a podiatrist in Tullahoma, Tennessee for 20+ years and served the community with a full heart. Jess listed to his dictation growing up and worked in his office filing charts, scheduling appointments etc. as soon as she was old enough to work. This is what has helped Jess succeed so well in the healthcare industry and a wide knowledge base and extensive Medical Terminology understanding.

Jess has been happily married to her husband, Chris, for 17 years and they have 3 boys and live in Woodbury, Tennessee.

Jess and her family enjoy multiple activities both as a family and as a couple. As a family they enjoy trips, riding RZR's at OHV parks, Dirt Track Racing (that their oldest son drives at), and other outside events like Mud Bogging and Tractor Pulls. As a Couple, Jess and her husband enjoy vacations and trips on their Motorcycle and have traveled as far north as Canada and as far west as Colorado. They have went through every state from Main to Mile 0 in Key West, FL.

Jessica's passion is to Help providers have a smooth running practice and has extensive knowledge on the administrative side of running a small private practice.
